Fitch fought his potential abductors and by doing so he saved the life of his brother Abercrombie.
Unfortunately Fitch could not recover from the injuries he received from these cruel and heartless people and he succumbed. Fitch lost his battle for life on March 5, 2007 at 11:56pm at the University of Georgia.
Rest in Peace Dear Brave Fitch... For you we will continue to fight!!!

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS.. It was a load of girls. Last week you all got together and raised money to save these ponies and yearlings from going to slaughter... THANK YOU AND WONDERFUL JOB EVERYONE!!! Alan picked them up on Monday and they have arrived in Apopka. The little chestnut pain pony and black and white paint pony are at Deb McBride's. Also the little Bay Pony is with them. When we went to load them to go to Loxahatchee she got on also and was not getting off. Princess Liana's Love has also come to the Loxahatchee facilty. She is BEAUTIFUL and already has been evaluated. What a wonderful riding pony. She is about 13.2 and sweet sweet sweet. The little ones are untouchable.. but not for long. They are in desperate need of TLC as you can see. Soon they will be as beautiful on the outside as they are on the out. They are very afraid of humans but we will fix that.
