Fitch fought his potential abductors and by doing so he saved the life of his brother Abercrombie.
Unfortunately Fitch could not recover from the injuries he received from these cruel and heartless people and he succumbed.
Fitch lost his battle for life on March 5, 2007 at 11:56pm at the University of Georgia.
Rest in Peace Dear Brave Fitch... For you we will continue to fight!!!

Ranger's Heart
Ranger was a horse that was beautiful, proud and loving. Now Ranger runs in endless fields and grazes on dew kissed grass as so many of the horse we love do now that they have passed over the Rainbow Bridge.
There are people in this world that love their horses for how they perform for them, there are people in this world tha
t love their horses for how they work for them and their are people in this world that just love their horses...
Ranger lost his eyesight and his owners apparently felt he could not fit into their family any longer, to them Ranger's loss of sight was too much of a burden to take on... To Donna, Ranger's loss of eyesight was nothing more than an obstacle she would have to get around to show him how much he meant to her and her family, with them Ranger would have a home the rest of his life. He adored children, was kind and gentle...there was no reason for his life to be over...
His life began the day he got off the trailer at Donna's house and that is when the love affair began... This love could not be seen so sight wasn't necessary ..it was felt in the heart of Donna and Ranger.
Recently Donna had to say goodbye to Ranger and as he spent his morning enjoying his apples and cookies Donna asked him to watch over the herd for they will miss him and so will she....
Ranger lives forever in the heart of Donna and her family. Thank You Donna for giving Ranger a second chance, a love filled life and a peaceful ending.
