Fitch fought his potential abductors and by doing so he saved the life of his brother Abercrombie.
Unfortunately Fitch could not recover from the injuries he received from these cruel and heartless people and he succumbed. Fitch lost his battle for life on March 5, 2007 at 11:56pm at the University of Georgia.
Rest in Peace Dear Brave Fitch... For you we will continue to fight!!!

Help a Foal for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a special time for many, but for some it is not as happy of an occasion. This year let's help make Mother's Day a happier day for some orphan foals.

To celebrate your Mom or a very special person in your life, you can send a card recognizing that you have made a donation to save a foal that does not have a mother. Cost of the donation is $25.00.
The front of this card has a print made from a sketch of one of the Nurse Mare Foals saved by Pure Thoughts Horse & Foal Rescue. This sketch was drawn by Susan Monty, an equine artist who has an entire exhibit of rescued horses. The card can be framed and is a wonderful forever gift.
To place an order please email Mary Hatheway @ chimino86@hotmail.com. Please inform Mary to whom the card is going & their mailing address and who is sending the card.
The $25.00 donation can be made through the paypal account on www.pthr.org or a check or money order, made payable to PURE THOUGHTS can be mailed to Mary @ 114 Greystone Lane, Butler, PA 16002. Cards will be mailed out as soon as the check or money order is received by Mary or when notification is received from Pay Pal that a donation has been placed. All orders still have to be made to Mary even if you use Pay Pal.
The last day to place an order for a delivery prior to Mother's Day is May 7th, funds must be recieved no later than May 7th for the order to go out in time for Mother's Day.
