Fitch fought his potential abductors and by doing so he saved the life of his brother Abercrombie.
Unfortunately Fitch could not recover from the injuries he received from these cruel and heartless people and he succumbed. Fitch lost his battle for life on March 5, 2007 at 11:56pm at the University of Georgia.
Rest in Peace Dear Brave Fitch... For you we will continue to fight!!!

	Here is your boy everyone!!! Here is Alex... it has been 8 weeks and he just makes me smile. He is such a sweet boy. He loves kids. Such an easy going boy... I think next week we will allow him to be available for adoption. I cannot wait for Alex to find his special someone to love only him!!! He deserves to the love of someone's life!! I have included many face pictures because I am just so amazed how it has filled out and how soft it is now. His eyes are so beautiful!!! ALEX UPDATE

Well today we tested Alex on riding. Although it seems that he has been ridden we have been teaching him the cues.. He was ridden for about 10 minutes because we want him to start slow. He really enjoyed it... that is until the hay truck showed up and he recognized that truck immediately. It is wonderful to see Alex be a horse again. He holds his head high and gets so happy when he is out being trained. Someday he will make someone a wonderful little boy.

The kids just love him.. and he eats it up..

Thanks to many Fans of Barbaro and members of the Alex Brown Board we were made aware of this boy in Florida that will now be going up for auction. We will be going to the auction and purchase him and bring him back here for rehab.

Hernando Brown needs to come home... and start his new life..

He arrives.. getting prepared for his bath. When horses arrive they receive a good medicated bath because not only does it help them physically plus they feel better but it gives us a chance to go over their body. This boy scored a 2 on the body score scale.

Brad applies medication to his wounds on his face from when he tore out of his halter in the trailer and also swat around and vaseline around his eyes so the soap does not get in his eyes.. Then his bath starts.

The first steps to happiness:

Hi I am new here... I am only three I just came in.. I am a little afraid ..people have not been that good to me..

It's ok Hernando my new little friend.. I am only three as well, My name is Witch's Trail, I was training to be a race horse but I was unable to run.. people were not that great to me either.. We were all once afraid but there are many people out there who are good people and help us horses.

They call me Davey here.. it's nice here.. the big red girl to your right is Roanie... she is a wee bit bossy but next to her.. the big blond is Babylon she is really nice but she thinks she is a Super Model... They do not have mirrors here..
