March 30, 2012 Wilow and Jason arrived at Pure Thoughts Horse Rescue. Jason is a 6 month old TB dam is Secrets Letter and Sire is Derby Willow is 1 year her dam was Lil Miss Lollipop and her Sire is Derby. Both babies are suffering from severe starvation, Jason's body score is 1.75 and Willlow's is 1.0. The first few days have been up and down but we do believe they will make it. Pure Thoughts, Inc. -Pure Thoughts Inc. is an all volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of horses, yearlings and foals that were bound for slaughter, victims of starvation, neglect and abuse.
To date, Pure Thoughts Inc has helped over 1400 horses.
In March of 2009 we expanded out Thoroughbred Division to help ex-racehorses and to date have helped over 100 ex-racehorses begin a new life after their racing career is over
